Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using BabelEar Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

BabelEar Pro is operated by KapTable AI Limited ("KapTable", "we", "us", or "our").

What BabelEar Pro is

BabelEar Pro is the paid realtime speech translation app. It uses account-backed minute packs instead of requiring you to manage your own API key.

BabelEar Pro is intended to help with everyday live conversations, but AI translations can be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, unexpected, or inappropriate.

BabelEar Pro is not a substitute, at the moment, for professional translation, interpretation, medical, legal, financial, safety, emergency, or other professional advice.

Eligibility and accounts

When BabelEar Pro launches publicly, you may be able to use it as a guest for a limited free preview. To buy minutes, restore purchases across supported devices, or manage account deletion in the intended account-backed flow, you must use the sign-in method supported by your platform: Sign in with Apple on iOS or Sign in with Google where available on Android.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple or Google account and for any activity that occurs through your BabelEar Pro account.

Apple accounts and Android accounts are separate. An account created or used on Apple devices cannot be used on Android, and an Android account cannot be used on Apple devices.

If you are under the age required to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, use BabelEar Pro only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Purchases and minutes

BabelEar Pro is expected to offer non-subscription, non-expiring consumable minute packs as in-app purchases through Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on your device and platform availability. Prices, products, and availability may change before or after launch.

All purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to the applicable store's terms, billing rules, and refund handling. Except where required by law or granted by the applicable store under its policies, purchases are final.

Purchased minutes are tied to your BabelEar Pro account and platform, not intended for resale, and not transferable to another person, another platform, or another account.

How usage works

BabelEar Pro usage starts only after a live translation connection is established. Disconnecting stops the meter. BabelEar Pro uses heartbeat checkpointing and session reconciliation to measure live translation time and protect balances.

BabelEar Pro may disconnect idle sessions, interrupted sessions, or sessions that run out of available minutes. You are responsible for ending a conversation when you are done using it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Unlawful useUse BabelEar Pro for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Service interferenceAttempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or disrupt the app or backend.
• Rights violationsUse BabelEar Pro in a way that infringes another person's rights.
• Responsible useUse BabelEar Pro thoughtfully. Do not eavesdrop, translate private conversations without appropriate consent, or use the app in a way that could put people at risk.
• High-risk relianceRely on AI translation outputs in safety-critical, emergency, legal, medical, or other high-stakes situations.

AI output disclaimer

BabelEar Pro uses AI systems to generate translations. AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, unexpected, or inappropriate. You use the app at your own discretion, and you should not rely on outputs as facts, guarantees, or professional interpretation.

Account deletion

You may delete your BabelEar Pro account from the Settings screen. Account deletion is intended to be permanent. When an account is deleted, linked account-backed data and unused purchased minutes are not recoverable through BabelEar Pro.

Intellectual property

BabelEar Pro, including branding, artwork, app design, audio presentation, website, backend, and software, is owned by KapTable AI Limited or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of the service or its content.

Disclaimers

BabelEar Pro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available at any particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KapTable AI Limited and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of BabelEar Pro.

Changes to BabelEar Pro or these terms

We may modify BabelEar Pro, suspend features, or update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice in the app, on the website, or by updating the effective date above. Your continued use after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates, except where consumer law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.
